From the GAZETTE OF THE UNITED STATES dated May 4th 1802, report from Norfolk VA of a slave insurrection. Parts of the town were taken over and fires were set.

1811 Paul Revere & Son Copper Advertisement

From the Boston Repository dated January 4th 1811, this advertisement is for Paul Revere & Sons moving to Kirby St. in Boston. He was a manufacturer of church bells, iron bolts and fittings for ships. Revere was the owner of first copper mill in the United States as well.

Fire in Cotton Factory in Sterling CT. Building was completely destroyed. Loss at over $20,000 from a simple candle left carelessly in a room.
